耳鼻咽喉科是一个有三十多年发展历史的专业科室，现有病床40张。医护人员29人，其中主任医师3名、副主任医师4名、主治医师4名、住院医师3名、专业听力检测医生1名，拥有专科护理人员14名，其中高级护师2名、主管护师8名，护师3名，护士1名。该科于技术力量雄厚，在省内同级医院中处于领先地位，2006年被评为孝感市重点专科。
科室拥有先进的专科设备：德国Rudolf鼻窦内窥镜、美国Stryker鼻窦内窥镜及电动吸割器、美国Stryker耳钻，美国Stryker微型内镜，日本OLYMPUS ENF—B纤维喉镜，德国PENTAX电子喉镜，美国 MADSEN纯音测听仪及ZODIAC901声阻抗仪，德国Zeiss VARAO-S88手术显微镜，德国头灯导光显微镜及冷光源支气管镜，多功能微波治疗仪，ND=YAG激光机，美国MADSEN脑干诱发电位，全功能耳声发射分析仪，耳鼻咽喉科综合治疗台德国select-sutter多功能鼾症治疗仪等。
耳鼻咽喉科对多种疾病的诊断治疗积累了丰富的经验。如功能性鼻内窥镜术、听力重建、喉癌术后发音功能重建、复杂的食道和呼吸道异物取出、鼾症的微创治疗、头颈部恶性肿瘤的早期诊治等。
科室还承担了全市耳鼻咽喉科临床、科研、教学任务。近几年在省级以上杂志共发表论文30余篇，完成科研课题4项，经鉴定

ENT is a history of over thirty years of professional departments, the existing 40 beds. 29 medical staff, including chief physician 3, Deputy Chief Physician 4, 4 physicians, 3 residents, a professional hearing test doctors, 14 nurses have specialties, including 2 Senior Nurse, director of nursing Division 8, Division 3 care, nurses, 1. Department has advanced specialist equipment: Germany Rudolf sinus endoscopy, endoscopic sinus U.S. Stryker and electric suction cutting device, the U.S. Stryker ear drilling, micro-American Stryker Endoscopy, Japan OLYMPUS ENF-B laryngoscope, Germany PENTAX electronic throat mirror, the United States MADSEN pure tone audiometry and ZODIAC901 acoustic impedance analysis instrument, the German Zeiss VARAO-S88 operating microscope, optical microscope, Germany headlamps and cold light bronchoscopy, multi-function microwave apparatus, ND = YAG laser, the United States MADSEN brainstem evoked potentials, all-otoacoustic emission analyzer.
ENT has already accumulated experiences for disease diagnosis and treatments , such as functional endoscopic sinus surgery, hearing reconstruction, laryngeal function reconstruction after pronunciation, complex esophageal and respiratory foreign body removal, minimally invasive treatment of snoring, head and neck cancers such as early diagnosis and treatment.
Department also assumed the city of Otolaryngology clinical, research and teaching mission. Above the provincial level in recent years in the magazine were published over 30 papers, complete research projects 4, was identified up to the leading domestic level, and third prize of Science and Technology Achievements by Hubei Province, Xiaogan Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award.
