儿科是院级和市级临床重点专科，科内有3名主任医师、5名副主任医师、2名硕士和多名在职研究生及多名主管护士，技术力量雄厚，服务质量优良。科室拥有呼吸机、肺功能仪、气道阻力检测仪和过敏原测定仪等先进设备。联合景象学MRI、24小时动态脑电图、血药浓度监测开展癫痫的最新诊治，今年内还将建立先进的视频脑电图室，将会大大提高癫痫的诊断水平及准确度；脑电生物反馈诊断治疗仪测评儿童的心理行为发展、智商、气质，代替了手工测定，可对多动症、抽动症进行综合诊治。儿童康复是儿科近十年发展的新的热门专业，在手法按摩扶触的基础上通过水疗机、小脑电循环刺激仪、肌兴奋治疗仪、痉挛肌治疗仪、语言训练仪和头针、体针等完成PT、OT系统训练和针灸治疗，在脑瘫、脑炎后遗症、语言障碍、智力低下和多动症方面取得了良好的疗效。儿科注重学术水平的学习进步，近年独立完成两项科研成果，达到国内领先水平。已有60余篇学术论文在国家级核心期刊上发表。儿科还拥有多台多功能心电监护仪、超声驱动雾化机、微量输液泵和蓝光箱治疗仪等治疗设备，建立更先进的PICU病房和无菌层流病房，引进小儿电子胃镜等设备，使儿科在消化、心血管、血液、肾病、内分泌、急救和保健专业得到全面发展，为更多的患儿和家庭送去福音。
