烧伤整形外科成立于上世纪80年代初期，现有医务人员11名，其中主任医师1名，副主任医师2名，住院医师3名，副主任护师1名，主管护师4名；3人取得湖北省美容主诊医师资格证书，4人取得美容从业人员上岗证；医学硕士1名；有2人分别担任省医学会整形外科分会、烧伤外科分会委员，省医学会医学美容分会委员，省医院协会美容专业委员会委员。科室每年开展新业务、新技术1-2项，并有两项科研成果经专家鉴定达到国内领先水平，其中一项被孝感市人民政府评为科技进步二等奖。平时积极撰写论文，分别在《中华整形外科》、《中华医学美容美学》、《中国美容医学》、《中国修复重建外科》、《中国烧伤创疡》等杂志上发表论文数十篇。

　　　科室设有门诊和住院两部分，门诊设有激光室、手术室、换药室、治疗室等，住院部在外科楼11楼，拥有光子嫩肤美容仪、激光美容仪、多功能美容治疗仪、脂肪抽吸塑身美容仪、烧伤治疗仪、空气消毒机等设备。
