检验科下设：临床化学室、免疫室、微生物室、血液学实验室、门诊化验室、住院部化验室、性病实验室、分子生物学室、遗传室等九个实验室；配置有一系列先进仪器设备，如贝克曼CX-9全自动生化仪、日立7060C生化分析仪、日本SF-3000、Sysmex800i血液分析仪及UF－50尿沉渣分析仪、法国梅里埃细菌鉴定仪、免疫荧光显微镜、BH-5100微量元素分析仪、日本东亚血凝仪、全自动血流变快测仪、美国伯乐PCR-DNA扩增仪等各种检测仪器。拥有高中级技术人员14名,检验科主任王少敏同志同时担任湖北省检验学会委员、湖北省医院管理学会检验分会委员、孝感市检验学会主任委员。多年来坚持参加卫生部和湖北省临床检验中心室间质量评价活动，结果准确、多次受到表彰。设备仪器先进;相关检验项目齐全,共计300余项。孝感市临床检验中心设在检验科。
